“A building should have integrity just like a man. And a man's, a building, every building, has an integrity of its own, just as every man, even the simplest, the humblest, has a uniqueness of his own."
- Frank Lloyd Wright
Architecture can play a role in uniting and accommodating diverse communities while respecting the uniqueness and integrity of each group.
The project's goal of bringing together different resident groups aligns with the idea of creating an environment that acknowledges the individuality and collective unity of its occupants. The project offers diverse housing options, fosters community through ample amenity and public spaces, and prioritizes resource efficiency. It aspires to create not just buildings but beautiful, heartwarming homes that touch the heart.
A consistent focus remained on maintaining southern orientation for each residential block to optimize heat gain. The evolution of the design successfully integrated green spaces and co-working areas within the interstitial spaces between residential blocks. This approach prioritizes energy efficiency and fosters a dynamic and communal living environment.
